The Forgotten Carols 

We cannot stress enough how much we love this holiday tradition. The Forgotten Carols has been touring since 1991, and tells the tale of a nurse who has not laughed or cried in 30 years. The story tells of the nurse meeting a homeless man and enthralls the audience in a lovely holiday tale. This show is recommended for kids 5 and up, so grab your tickets now! The show is going to be at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts. 

Movie Night @ O.H.S.O’s The Park – How the Grinch Stole Christmas 

The great thing about Arizona is that even during the winter we can be outside! O.H.S.O’s The Park puts on holiday movie events all through December. The next installment will be How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Bring the kids for the movie, and there’s beer at Brewery Gilbert for the parents! 

Christmas at Schnepf Farms 

We love celebrating Christmas at Schnepf Farms. Pack up the kids for a day of festive fun with train rides, hayrides and bonfires! Don’t worry, there’s beer and wine for the parents, too. Hang around for live music at night, or throw on some skates and hit the ice! The event runs through Christmas Eve, so grab some tickets for a festive day out with the whole fam. 

Shopping at San Tan Village’s Holiday HQ

If your kids want a picture with Santa, you’ve got to stop by Santan Village. Get your holiday shopping list taken care of while you’re there! We love the Riparian reserve all year, but have you visited during the holidays? Stop by and take a walk down the 4.5 miles of festive trails for Riparian After Dark!
