Feel that? That’s the daily high temperature dropping to below 95 degrees. Yes, it’s officially fall in Gilbert and if you’re looking to get into the spirit of the season, you’ll want to add the following quintessential events to your calendar.

  1. Gilbert Farmers Market

Cooler temps bring regular hours and the A-Team vendor lineup back to the Gilbert Farmers Market. Swing by on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for local and organic produce, handcrafted ready-made bites and kid-friendly activities like face painting, balloon animals and lawn games.

  1. Mother Nature’s Farm

The pumpkin patch is officially open for business! Open Monday—Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., tickets are $10 for kids and $5 for adults, and include a pumpkin with stickers to decorate, bounce houses, hay ride, spider web crawl and Alexander’s Adventure maze. Plus, you can bring your own picnic!

  1. Vertuccio Farms

Vertuccio Farms’ Fall Festival is one of Gilbert’s most popular seasonal pastimes. And with a 5-acre corn maze, mini-golf, hay maze, pumpkin bowling (and much more!), how could it not be?! This year, there’s also a Pumpkin Paint-and-Take on Oct. 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th.

  1. Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch

This earthy escape is a must-see year-round, but especially alluring during the cooler months! Explore the front-and-center lake, feed the ducks and let the little ones get wild on the playground, or venture deeper into the preserve’s depths and enjoy 4.5 miles of lush walking trails.

  1. Gilbert Water Tower Lighting and Concert

It’s no secret—Gilbert loves to get in the holiday spirit as soon as humanly possible. It might still be fall, but the water tower lighting on Thursday, Nov. 21st is the town’s official kick-off to the merry festivities with live music, horse and carriage rides, and local food trucks and vendor booths.
