Hi, I’m Melissa Brown, CEO and Founder of Copper Sky Social Media! I help companies and nonprofits tell their stories through compelling social media content, and I also coach aspiring social media managers who want to confidently grow their businesses. Since launching in 2018, I’ve been passionate about making social media strategy accessible and results-driven. What Brought Them to Thrive
What initially drew you to join Thrive, and how did you hear about it?
I was looking for a professional workspace where I could focus on growing my business while connecting with other driven women entrepreneurs. Running a social media business means I need a space that’s both inspiring and distraction-free. When I heard about Thrive’s women-focused community around Covid, I knew it would be the perfect fit for balancing productivity with meaningful connections.

How has your experience been so far at Thrive, and what aspects do you enjoy the most?
My experience at Thrive has been fantastic! What I enjoy most is the sense of community. Being surrounded by women who understand the challenges of entrepreneurship and are genuinely supportive. The professional atmosphere helps me stay focused during deep work sessions, and the networking opportunities have been invaluable. It’s the perfect balance of productive workspace and collaborative energy.
Staying on Track with Work
How does Thrive help you stay on track with your work and professional goals?
Thrive gives me the structure I need to stay consistent with my business goals. Having a dedicated workspace separate from home helps me maintain boundaries and focus during work hours. The community accountability is also huge! Seeing other women showing up and doing the work motivates me to stay on track with my own goals.
Message to Current Members
What advice or message would you like to share with your fellow Thrive members?
Show up consistently, even when it’s hard. As someone who helps businesses with their social media presence, I know firsthand that consistency is what moves the needle—whether it’s posting content, reaching out to potential clients, or simply showing up to your workspace. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or advice from this community. We’re all in this together, and there’s so much value in supporting each other’s growth. Keep pushing forward. You’ve got this!
