Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background and what you do?
My name is Lindsay – I am a freelance Grant Writer and lover of all things matcha, travel, and the outdoors. I have 8+ years helping small nonprofits achieve big goals and have grown my freelance work in the last 3 years while getting my master’s degree in Glasgow, Scotland. What Brought Them to Thrive
What initially drew you to join Thrive, and how did you hear about it?
I’ve been looking for ways to grow my professional and personal community, hoping to meet other freelance workers like myself! When I returned to Phoenix after a year of travel, the first thing I Googled was co-working spaces in my area, and I was so excited to find one that was women-focused.
Experience at Thrive
How has your experience been so far at Thrive, and what aspects do you enjoy the most?
Although I sometimes feel like the new kid when I enter a new space, my experience at Thrive has been great! Everyone I’ve interacted with is motivated to make the most of the day and the connections around them. Also, endless coffee continues to be an essential part of my day!
Staying on Track with Work
How does Thrive help you stay on track with your work and professional goals?
Thrive helps me stay on top of my work by seeing others also work productively around me. The bright space and outdoor patio are so perfect to keep my mind clear throughout the day.

What advice or message would you like to share with your fellow Thrive members?
I invite any other Thrive members to say hello and let me know if they or anyone in their network seeks support with grant/proposal writing. I would love to grow my clientele with organizations making an impact in my home state of Arizona.
